A Stainless Steel Honed Tube is manufactured from seamless stainless steel tubing that undergoes:

Internal Honing – to create a smooth, mirror-like inner surface
The result is a corrosion-resistant, high-precision tube ideal for applications where standard carbon steel tubes would rust or contaminate the working environment.
It is specially designed for humid, corrosive, seawater, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical environments. Unlike carbon steel honed tubes, it does not rust or contaminate fluids.
